What a thrilling weekend! We got to enjoy a Saturday morning of garage sales for the first time this summer. (We’re looking forward to finding lots of baby bargains, but it’s hard to shop when we don’t know the gender yet.) We got to celebrate a great friend’s graduation from his MBA program with lots of other great friends around…one of whom we found out is pregnant and she's due 2 days after me!!! And we got to announce to SO many close friends that we are pregnant during our final Rock Solid Marriages class yesterday (Sunday)!!! I even got my first sunburn of the season…oops.
Our baby is now the size of a peach since I’m 13 weeks pregnant. I notice a more consistent baby bump every day, although it is not very big yet. My bump is always larger in the evening than it is in the morning, which I thought was peculiar…but a friend assured me she had the same experience, so I feel more normal now that I know I’m not hallucinating. I have also officially gained 3 pounds during my pregnancy (is that TMI?).
