We took our first ‘family’ communion Sunday (March 27th) at our Rock Solid Marriages retreat. It was so meaningful to take the sacrament together and pray at the alter to God with Phil’s hand on my belly. I’ll never forget that moment. And for some reason I bawled like a baby when I got to watch each couple in our small group walk up and kneel before God with their spouse. It was such a touching moment of peace in silence…it was perfect!
Our retreat weekend was amazing, with God in action the entire time. We even managed to head out on a long hike Saturday morning with a group of friends…I was exhausted by the end of course, but it totally made my weekend! We gave our testimony Saturday night and enjoyed a weekend with so many people sharing their stories of love and forgiveness with us. It was wonderful.
